Chuẩn bị nấu canh atiso: Bông Atiso rửa sạch, chặt làm 2 phần: Phần thân và phần bông. Phần thân cạo vỏ, chặt khúc xéo. Phần bông bổ làm 4 hoặc làm 8, bỏ nhụy.
Chuẩn bị nấu canh atiso: Xương heo rửa sạch bằng nước muối, chặt miếng vừa ăn. Bắt nồi nước khoảng 2 lít, cho vào 1 muỗng cà phê muối. Đun đến khi nóng thì cho xương heo vào ninh khoảng 30 phút.
Cách nấu canh atiso: Sau khi nấu nước dùng được 30 phút, cho phần thân vào nấu thêm 15 phút thì cho phần bông vào. Nấu thêm 15 - 20 phút nữa cho bông Atiso ra chất và mềm, nêm thêm 1 muỗng cà phê hạt nêm.
Múc canh atiso ra rô, rắc thêm ít hành lá và rau ngò cho món ăn đẹp mắt và thơm hơn. Món canh atiso xương heo bổ dưỡng, thơm ngon với bông atiso và xương heo có thể chấm với nước mắm ớt ăn sẽ ngon hơn.
