You must follow the instructions carefully to assemble but we had no issues. All the holes lined up and it looked nice once assembled. We actually wall mounted this and added rope lights on top and a chair rail below it to finish it off and it looks great in the new craft room.

All the pieces are marked with numbers. I wrote sticky notes on each piece with the number clearly indicated. The numbers are on the side of each piece and easy to miss. It made it much easier to mark them and then follow the step by step instructions. It's a little confusing to know which is up and which is down, but easy to rectify if you put a piece on incorrectly. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this unit, and I put it together with the help of my sister in about an hour.

I don't know what that other guy was doing, but my hardware fit and worked perfectly. Perfectly smooth on every surface, square on each corner. I just wish it came in an oak finish, and I would buy a few more... trying to figure out how to put 'oak' contact paper on mine!

This is a great shelf - very sturdy and well made. It does take quite a bit of time to put together - it uses cam locks which there is nothing wrong with but I expected to just be able to quickly put it together and it took about an hour. The back pieces don't nail on - they slide into place (which is good).

I also bought the 6-cube and 8-cube to put them together as they have it in the picture. They were easy to assemble (but I like putting things like these together). They are sturdy, but I don't have anything super heavy on them. I bought fabric storage containers to put in them and they fit well. For the most part, these are good quality for the price.

Have 2 of these now, as 1st one worked well. I wouldn't stand on this, but it's meant to be an organizer of things, for which it works great. The parts go together quickly and fit tight. It's about a 30 minute job. None of my panels, in either shipment some 3 months apart, are labeled at all, per the instructions with a number. As such, spend the time on page 1, laying out the panels on the floor per the picture as shown. Where the slots for back panels are, where the larger attachment holes are, etc. Once you follow the configuration on page 1, it's easy to follow.

I bought one of these to store some excess supplies that were taking up space in my kitchen cabinets. From reviewing the dimensions, I calculated that it would fit perfectly under the end of my dining table. To my satisfaction, it did, and the color matches perfectly to the table. It was easy to set up. I purchased storage bins separately and filled the bins with mason jars, extra storage containers, table cloths, etc. It made my kitchen much less cluttered (big plus!), and I was surprised how much I could store. I ended up buying a second for another room. It is MDF, and the panels are more like stiff cardboard which may make the "life expectancy" less than real wood; but they look sleek, fit in with my decor, and do the job I need them to do. My only complaint is a slight annoyance that the bins don't always "line up" due to the offset panels. However, if I were to use just as decor space, the panels would definitely add interest.

Arrived promptly. Easy to assemble and good price for the quality. Most of these cube shelves are cheaply made. This is one of the better lower priced models.

When ordering this I had searched online and at local stores for one this size. I needed it to fit in a spot that could be no bigger. Anyway it looks great and is very easy to setup. No complaints here.

I was hesitant based on the poor reviews but wanted to try it out for the price. Overall I think it’s a good deal. It looks nice and is sturdy. It was easy to put together and the directions were clear. I wanted it for a nursery and it was smaller than I expected. That’s my own fault for not reading the height specifications. Picture is next to a standard crib. I think this is helpful because a lot of people want this for a nursery. Since it’s all put together I’m going to keep it but had I known I would have opted for something a little taller.
